ZALA AERO Develops New Payload

ZALA unmanned aerial vehicles are now able to carry high-end payloads for remote sensing due to their high load capacity. The most recent development – is a payload with 61 Mp full-sensor camera   that brings the aerial imagery up to the next level.

The new payload simultaneously delivers large footprint and high accuracy of the images. High resolution offers better Ground Sample Distance of the images. GSD – is the distance on the ground between two neighboring pixels on the image, in other words, it shows how much ground is captured by one pixel.

So, the higher is the image resolution, the more accurate and comprehensive are the final products – orthomosaic map, dense point cloud and  3D models. Detailed image with precise geo-reference allows to measure ground distances, object dimensions and calculate volumes.

The new payload also has an HD video camera that provides UAV operator a live video feed.
