I call BS. Nothing you can hold in your hand is going to have the power to significantly affect a drone. Either the drone malfunctioned all on it’s own, or the operator panicked and forgot how to fly, the fact he had a RTH button or it was a hoax. Maybe if you blinded the drone and he flew into a wire, but your laser did not down the drone, pilot error did.
