Hoversurf Launches Ducted-Fan Hoverbike at CES

Russian tech company Hoversurf is launching a new ducted fan version of its S3 2019 Hoverbike at CES this week.

Dubai Police took delivery of its first Hoverbike in November 2018 though it is as yet unclear where and when manufacturing might start. The new version appears to be using simple ducted-fan engines (rather than the company’s patented Venturi engine) which are clearly safer than the massive knee-chopping  exposed blades of the original.

Pitching itself as an ‘Urban Air Mobility’ company, the blurb on the stand reveals little about the new model. Perhaps they will make an announcement soon…

For those not able to attend the show in person, our man in Las Vegas took these revealing shots.
