Department 13 International Ltd has signed an exclusive distribution agreement with Korea Counter Terrorism Solutions (KCTS), a leading distributor of counter-terrorism solutions in South Korea.
D13’s MESMER counter drone system is a non-jamming drone mitigation solution providing a safe and effective method of protecting personnel and infrastructure from dangerous drones.
The agreement between D13 and KCTS follows on from a recent demonstration of the MESMER drone technology that took place at the Daejeon Event in April.
It marked the largest counter- unmanned aerial systems (C-UAS) demonstration event ever to take place in South Korea, gathering 200 high ranked personnel from over 40 government organisations and private enterprises.
South Korean market represents a substantial opportunity for D13
South Korea has a highly concentrated urban population with over 25 million residents living in Seoul alone.
Marked by terrorist attacks and North Korean provocations, the South Korean market represents a substantial opportunity for D13.
D3 chief executive officer Jonathan Hunter said: “The agreement with KCTS broadens an already extensive distribution network for D13s MESMER technology.
