ARTC, the Colombian Unmanned Aircraft Association, which represents over 1,000 professionals and companies that use UAVs in a commercial environment, has joined forces with the E+S+S International Security Fair in Bogota, to organise ‘Drones for Security and Beyond’, on August 22-24 , 2018.
Rafael Padilla Cepeda, VP of the ARTC association, will guide the development of this new Salon at the Fair. He is committed to the responsible use of regulation-compliant services, and expanding potential applications throughout the economy.
Unmanned Aircraft Systems of UAS have robustly migrated from personal and entertainment use to professional use. In a professional setting what is most notable is that they are regarded as part of the airspace and therefore subject to extensive regulation.
This technology implies responsible use and special preparation in security of manned aircraft, other UAV and people and assets on land.
