The US Secretary of Transportation Elaine Chao addressed the audience at the FAA’s UAS Symposium (March 6- 8) by means of a recorded video.
She announced that operations over people, night flight, and flight beyond visual line of sight (BVLOS) were on the way. While she understands that stakeholders are concerned about safety, she reassured that “this administration is actively working through these issues.”
