DronePro, LLC, a provider of high tech aerial drone inspection services based out of Houston, Texas, has announced several new partnerships since obtaining its 333 exemption. These strategic partners include; Helix Energy, Versa Integrity, Reel Group and Offshore Energy Services.
Additionally, DronePro has secured 1 of 3 early adopter spots for the Lone Star UAS Test Site credentialing program, one of only six test sites in the USA. This partnership will also include DronePro assisting Lone Star to develop a qualification program for drone companies wanting to work within the oil and gas industry.
Founder Joey Johnston states, “We are excited to be a leader in this new industry and feel confident that our knowledge of the energy sector will allow us to become the global leader in the next 12-24 months. We opened our door in July of 2015 and obtained our 333 exemption in January 2016 and have several onshore and offshore jobs on the books. Our time waiting for our exemption was well spent, allowing us to test UAV platforms that we would offer to our clients and also implement a stringent training program for pilots and camera operators, not to mention putting a ISO compliant quality system in place. 2016 will be a banner year for us not only in revenue but we are already making plans to expand globally with the help of our strategic partners.
