The tenth meeting of the ICAO UAS Study Group took place in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil from 24 to 28 September 2012.
This meeting, which was expertly hosted by ANAC (Brazilian civil aviation authority) and DECEA (Brazilian military aviation authority), brought together representatives from civil aviation authorities from Australia, Austria, Brazil, Canada, France, Germany, Italy, Japan, The Netherlands, Norway, Russia, Singapore, Sweden, UK, USA, as well as representatives of ICAO, the European Aviation Safety Agency (EASA), Eurocontrol, EUROCAE WG73, EUROCAE Working 93, CANSO, JARUS, RTCA SC203 and several international organizations, including UVS International.
The meeting attendees concentrated their efforts on laying the foundation for the production of ICAO’s UAS Manual.
