AVIC to Display Wing Loong UAS at Zhuhai Airshow in November

The highlight exhibits at China’s Zhuhai Airshow, to be held in Zhuhai from November 13 to 18 will  include a complete “Wing Loong” UA system by AVIC.

Up to now, it has been confirmed that this airshow occupies a net area of 28,200 square meters for indoor exhibition, with 39 participating countries and regions, nearly 650 Chinese and foreign exhibitors, and over 80 actual aircraft.

All major companies, AVIC, and COMAC and so on will participate in the exhibition on a larger scale and with newer exhibits, higher standards, and greater lineup. Also present at this airshow are regular participants like Boeing, Airbus, and Rolls-Royce Ltd., and a number of “new faces” like Eaton. Besides, a variety of new military and civilian aircrafts brought by plane manufacturers and operators all over the world will carry on display flights, while numerous world-class aerobatic teams will perform “aerial ballet” for the audience.

AVIC will continue to use No. 3 pavilion, establish China Aviation Pavilion and exhibition areas for six major product lines including military aviation, civil aviation, helicopters, general aircrafts, engines, and airborne systems, mainly presenting the new outlook of the Group during the past four years since it was established.

Other highlight products exhibited by AVIC this year include physical sample segments of the large-scale amphibious rescue aircraft “D-600”, Primus 150 with independent intellectual property rights, and the domestic power system CJ-1000A assorted with C919. Meanwhile, centered on static flight exhibition, AVIC will launch theme activities like “Walk into AVIC” and “Walk into People’s Airforce” to disseminate aviation culture, and also set up aviation science areas in the Aviation Pavilion combined with experience flight activities to make the audience understand and love aviation.
