Once again, Northrop Grumman will be sponsoring the UAE Innovation Challenge 2012 in Abu Dhabi.
The Competition Week is April 22-26, 2012, with the Flight Competition being held on 24 to 25 April , and the Awards Ceremony for the design, build and flying of an automated unmanned aircraft will take place on 26 April.
Higher Colleges of Technology Teams mentored by Northrop Grumman Engineers, will design, build and fly an automated unmanned aircraft. Teams will demonstrate what they have learned in a flying competition in April 2012. The winning team will be invited to attend AUVSI’s (Association for Unmanned Vehicle Systems International) Unmanned Systems North America, 7-10 August 2012 in Las Vegas, Nevada.
