Animal Rights Activists in Northern Ireland Use UAS to Expose Badger Baiting

The Ulster Society Prevention of Cruelty to Animals in Northern Ireland has been using a quadrocopter to expose the secretive world of Badger baiting.

Badgers are a protected species and killing one can lead to a prison sentence. That has not deterred the criminal gangs who dig into setts in broad daylight and then watch their dogs tear the badgers apart.

As it can be difficult for the authorities to follow the gangs into remote areas, the USPCA has been taking its fight to the air.
