Spain’s Aries Ingeniería y Sistemas and Global Freedom recently conducted the first specific training for operational visual intelligence for ISR and UAS in the country.
The training lasted two weeks. It was held last in December and six UAS payload operators from the Army were trained. This kind of training allowed the users to greatly improve their operational skills in the execution of missions.
Interpretation and analysis in real time as well as ISR abilities, require more technologically advanced training systems which are focused to operations and missions. Aries Ingeniería y Sistemas and Global Freedom are aware of this increasing demand. Therefore both companies distribute advanced training solutions based on the SCOUT system; training application, that includes interactive lessons, pin-point exercises, advanced 3D simulations, and full editing and managing capabilities.
These training tools are designed for ISR aircraft and payload operators, image intelligence analysts and consumers, as well as for field and HQ commanders. They are quickly customised to multiple kinds of ISR platforms (satellites, piloted aircrafts, unmanned aircraft); to various ISR payloads (still imagery, full motion video, electro-optical, infrared, synthetic aperture radar); to specific missions (C-IED, convoy escorting, threat detection, anti-piracy, counter-insurgency, etc.); and to any kind of scenario (coastal, open water, open ground, urban).
The systems are able to support all training levels- from basic to the most advanced and have been implemented as a significant training platform in Global Freedom’s UAS training centers establishments around the world.
