White Eagle Aerospace Launches New Unmanned Aircraft Systems Course

Aerospace training specialist, White Eagle Aerospace based in Oro Valley, near Tucson, Arizona, has just added a UAS course to its programme of short training courses which cover a wide range of highly useful technical subjects.   The Fundamentals of Unmanned Aerial Vehicles, Missions & Systems (UAV) professional short course provides a fundamental, yet comprehensive, end-to-end understanding of Unmanned Aerial Vehicles (UAVs) and Unmanned Aircraft Systems (UAS). The course is intended for individuals with responsibility for the selection, design, integration, test and operation of UAS, UAS links and UAS payloads for any military or civil application., participants will explore the traceability of overall mission requirements as dictated by the total target-to-user signal chain.

White Eagle Aerospace states that its mission is two-fold: First, to help preserve America’s aerospace heritage that this and succeeding generations may be inspired and guided thereby. Second, to help aerospace professionals effectively learn from the past, that they may continue to have success now and in the future.

Aero-Science short courses include Engineering Aerodynamics, Gas Dynamics, Aircraft Performance, Hypersonics, Atmospheric Entry and Missile Aerodynamics.  In addition to these traditional offerings, 2011 will see the introduction of an exciting array of courses from the immensely-important world of signals and electro-magnetics.  These courses include Electro Optical/Infrared (EO/IR) Sensors, Directional Infrared Counter Measures (DIRCM).  From the critical field of Systems Engineering, WEA offers training experiences in Systems Failure Analysis (SFA), Quality Management (QM) and Cost Reduction and Optimization (CRO).
