UVS International President Peter van Blyenburgh was recently interviewed on EuroNews TV for their series “Business Planet” which is airing throughout this week. EuroNews produced this video as a contribution to creating “drone awareness” with the general public and the commentary will be aired in 15 European languages.
Peter is currently putting the finishing touches to the RPAS 2016 Conference being held Brussels, Belgium on 22 & 23 June 2016. The 36 speakers at this conference include representatives of the European Commission, European Commission agencies, NATO, national government authorities, and various companies & organizations from Austria, Belgium, Czech Rep., Finland, France, Germany, India, Italy, Japan, Malaysia, Netherlands, Spain, UK, United States of America.
This 18th annual conference is organized within the framework of the European RPAS Roadmap and related ongoing European policy, regulatory, preparatory & awareness creation activities.
RPAS 2016 is an international conference addressing RPAS policy & regulatory matters, operational issues, current & future applications, current bottlenecks, technical and performance requirements for civil RPAS {commercial, non-commercial (incl. governmental non-military)], system & sub-system developments, aerial work customer requirements, novel operations, operational experience & lessons learned.
The presentations will broaden the awareness of current & potential RPAS manufacturers (for civil & military users), operators [commercial, non-commercial (incl. corporate), governmental non-military & military], their potential customers, regulatory authorities & manufacturers.
The deadline for registration to attend the RPAS 2016 conference is 12.00 noon on 17 June 2016.
