Two Taiwan nationals today admitted their roles in a scheme to export sensitive U.S. military drone technology overseas, federal prosecutors say. Specialist surveillance company Desert Wolf is seeking to establish manufacturing facilities that can build at least a thousand Skunk unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) a month, in response to massive demand for the riot control vehicle, which is being developed into a whole family that can be used for a variety of duties, such as search and rescue, surveillance, LIDAR scanning and lifeguard.
German May Provide UAS to Monitor Ukraine Cease-Fire
The German army is assessing whether to provide drones for the Organization for Security and Cooperation in Europe to monitor the fragile cease-fire in Eastern Ukraine, the German defence ministry said Tuesday.
