Ukraine has introduced the Behemoth, a chess-like drone that strikes targets at a distance of hundreds of kilometers with two warheads at once.
This was told in an interview with Military News by representatives of GLEFA and Culver Aerospace , who presented the drone at the Wild Drones event.
The Behemoth is designed for close-range operations and belongs to the class of middle strike drones.
Its range is up to 300 km (190 miles). The drone’s wingspan is 2.28 m, length is 2.2 m, and height is 0.5 m.
A high-explosive fragmentation warhead weighing 40 kg is located in the bow, and behind it is a thermobaric warhead weighing 35 kg.
The drone has already been put into mass production and is being used by the Ukrainian Defense Forces. It supports fully autonomous, semi-autonomous, and FPV control modes.
One of the features of a kamikaze drone is its ability to fly at low altitudes, making it difficult for air defence systems to detect and intercept it.
