A commercial imaging satellite flew over the Gromov Flight Research Institute near Moscow on May 31, 2016 and managed to capture a picture of the new Russia MALE unmanned aerial vehicle – Orion.

The overall dimensions and configuration of the aircraft suggests that Russian designers reference the American Reaper during the development of the plane.
