Following the announcement about the formation of the Commercial Drone Alliance, Drone World Expo is pleased to announce the event has been selected by this new industry group as its official trade show. The 2nd annual Drone World Expo, the defining event for the commercial applications of UAS technology, will be held November 15-16, 2016, at the San Jose Convention Center.
“We are thrilled to be partnering with the Commercial Drone Alliance whose mission dovetails perfectly with Drone World Expo,” said event director, Joelle Coretti. “We look forward to working with the co-executive directors of the Alliance, Gretchen West and Lisa Ellman, both members of our Advisory Board, on valuable content and co-marketing initiatives and welcoming their members to a world-class event in November.”
“The Alliance is an industry-led, independent and non-profit association dedicated to supporting enterprise end-users interested in adopting drone technology and enabling commercial market growth, which is in-line with the mission of Drone World Expo, so it’s only natural that we would select DWE as our official event,” stated Alliance co-executive director Gretchen West. “Alliance members will be able to take advantage of special offers the Expo will be offering only to our board and members and there will be many cross promotional opportunities between the two organizations.”
Through this partnership, industry members of the Alliance who exhibit at Drone World Expo will receive special benefits and end-user members of the Alliance will be able to attend the conference at no charge. The Commercial Drone Alliance will also be hosting a member party during Drone World Expo in San Jose.
