Members of the 27th Special Operations Wing from Cannon Air Force Base, New Mexico work hand-in-hand with Airmen in the ground control center ensuring the MQ-9 can operate on Hurlburt Field, Florida without any loss of satellite signal. Emerald Warrior is the Department of Defense’s only irregular warfare exercise, allowing joint and combined partners to train together and prepare for real world contingency operations.
