Northrop Grumman Gets $7M BAMS Support Contract

Northrop Grumman Systems Corp., Aerospace Systems, Bethpage, N.Y., is being awarded a $7,224,945 modification to a previously awarded cost-plus-award-fee contract (N00019-08-C-0023) in support of the Broad Area Maritime Surveillance (BAMS) Unmanned Aircraft System (UAS) System Development and Demonstration.

This modification provides new certification requirements for the BAMS Airborne Recorder in accordance with the National Security Administration Information Assurance Security and Requirements Directive. Work will be performed in Anaheim, Calif. (75 percent); Bethpage, N.Y. (20 percent); and San Diego, Calif. (5 percent), and is expected to be completed in December 2013.

No funding will be obligated at time of award nor will any expire at the end of the current fiscal year.  The Naval Air Systems Command, Patuxent River, Md. is the contracting activity.
