Northrop Grumman Gets $40M US Navy BAMS Maintenance Contract

Northrop Grumman Corp. is being awarded a $40,137,349 cost-plus-fixed-fee contract for operations and maintenance services in support of the Broad Area Maritime Surveillance – Demonstrator Unmanned Aircraft System, also known as the Global Hawk Maritime – Demonstrator.

Work will be performed in Patuxent River, Md. (70 percent) and outside continental U. S. (30 percent), and is expected to be completed in August 2013. Contract funds in the amount of $40,137,349 will expire at the end of the current fiscal year. This contract was not competitively procured pursuant to FAR 6.302-1.
