Another US Unmanned Aircraft Crashes in Southern Somalia Near Kenyan Border

Colonel Aden Dheere, a Somali military official, told Iran’s Press TV that the remote-controlled aircraft went down on the outskirts of Dhoobley town on Wednesday morning.Dhoobley is situated 20 kilometers (12 miles) from the Kenyan border and about 500 kilometers (312 miles) southwest of the Somali capital Mogadishu.

He added that at least 15 Somali government soldiers were injured after the aircraft crashed and caught fire. The wounded Somali troops, four of suffering from serious injuries, were later taken to a medical center inside Kenya.
